Monty J. Bennett, Founder

Monty Bennett joined Remington in 1992 and has held leadership positions including: Executive Vice President, Director of Information Systems, Operations Director, and General Manager. He currently serves as the Chairman, & Chief Executive Officer of Ashford Inc. (NYSE American: AINC) and is also the Founder & Chairman of both Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE: AHT) and Braemar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: BHR).

Mr. Bennett has been a member and leader in numerous organizations, including the American Hotel & Lodging Association's Industry Real Estate Finance Advisory Council (IREFAC), Cornell Hotel Society Life Member, Texas Lt. Governor's Advisory Board Member for Economic and Workforce Development. Together with the Ashford Group of Companies, he is involved with several local charitable organizations, including North Texas Food Bank, Special Olympics, and S.M Wright Foundation.
